Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose(CMC) is made from raw material natural cellulose(refine cotton or wooden fiber). It’s very popular cellulose ether and can be used in various types of industries, like food, pharmaceutical, paper making, ceramic, detergent, textile and cosmetic industries etc. Normally, customers won’t focus on Sodium CMC particle size, but there are several applications which have some special request with particle size. Q: How about your sieving rate for granular/coarse type Sodium CMC ?

A: Normally we can control our granular/coarse type CMC particle size at less than 10% pass 100mesh and 80% between 20-60mesh. If you have detailed sizing rate request, we can also control it as your request, but the production cost may be higher. We can discuss further if you have any special request for particle size.

Q: Which particle size Sodium CMC can you make ?

A: SINOCMC can provide various types of particle size Sodium CMC, such as: 40mesh( 95%pass 40mesh), 60mesh(95% pass 60mesh), 80mesh(95% pass 80mesh) and 100mesh(95% pass 100mesh) etc. Generally, we make food grade CMC at 80-100mesh fine powder.

A: There are two aspects with particle size request: one is for production technology request(for example, some production technology require less dust) and the other is product request(for example, capsule filling).
